วันที่ 24 ต.ค. 2565 คุณหญิงสุดารัตน์ เกยุราพันธุ์ หัวหน้าพรรคไทยสร้างไทย โพสต์เฟซบุ๊ก ขอแสดงความยินดีกับนายกรัฐมนตรีของสหราชอาณาจักรคนใหม่ นายริชี สุนัค ซึ่งเป็นคนเชื้อสายเอเชียคนแรกและอายุน้อย แค่ 42 ปี ที่ได้รับตำแหน่งนี้
สิ่งที่น่าจับตามองต่อไปคือแผนการแก้ไขปัญหาเศรษฐกิจถดถอย ซึ่งได้ประกาศต่อสาธารณชนไปบ้างแล้วในช่วงหาเสียง รวมถึงผลงานการเป็นนักเศรษฐศาสตร์และจากบทบาทการเป็นรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลังในช่วงโควิด-19 ที่เต็มไปด้วยความท้าทาย
และขอชื่นชมสปิริตของนายกรัฐมนตรีคนก่อนหน้านี้ นางลิซ ทรัสส์ ในการบริหารประเทศท่ามกลาง “ความไร้เสถียรภาพครั้งใหญ่ทางเศรษฐกิจและการต่างประเทศ" แม้จะเป็นช่วงเวลาเพียงสั้นๆ ก็ตาม ปัญหาเศรษฐกิจในสหราชอาณาจักรและในโลกตอนนี้ถือว่าเข้าขั้นวิกฤติ ขอเป็นกำลังใจให้กับผู้นำคนใหม่ให้ยึดประชาชนเป็นหลักในการตัดสินใจทางนโยบาย
